The show was recorded in various sets over its run.

Garage

The show first began recording in a corner of Felicia's converted garage. She salvaged four theater seats and had them reupholstered and mounted on a pair of rolling platforms so they could easily be moved when not in use. The first 66 episodes of the show were recorded here.

Couch set

A few months after Geek & Sundry's purchase by Legendary, the company was able to move to a dedicated studio space, and Co-Optitude got its own set. It was styled like a living room with the hosts and guests seated on a couch. Ryon joked in the Cooking Mama episode that they were "filming this in an Ikea right now." Twenty-three episodes were recorded here.

Twitch stage

About six months later, the show moved to use the Twitch stage during the channel's non-broadcast hours (usually on weekends). The stage would frequently be reconfigured for various shows, and for Co-Optitude they would move a couch and TV on set, although some more physical games did without the couch.

Other locations

Three episodes in the fall of 2014 (67, 68, and 69) were recorded from the Days' homes. The hosts were unable to record in person in the studio during this time, so they recorded less formal and minimally edited "Co-Optitude Lo-Fi" episodes, as Felicia called them.

One episode, Pokémon Go, was introduced on the Twitch stage but primarily took place outdoors walking on the streets around the Geek & Sundry offices in Burbank.
